Jason S. Cross, MSN, AGACNP, is staff at University Medical Center (UMC) of the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). Additionally, Jason is a Major in the USAF and practices in the intensive care unit of Nellis AFB at the Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center. Maj Cross is a clinical instructor for the Air Force’s Sustained Medical and Readiness Training (SMART) program where he assists in high volume trauma readiness and critical care training for providers, to prepare them for military deployment. Jason’s professional interests also include gerontology, pulmonary medicine, military resiliency, financial wellness, and early retirement planning. He is the father of three (nearly) grown children, happily married, and currently resides in Las Vegas. Jason’s five most likely areas of free time expenditure include researching investments and investment groups, playing guitar, singing Karaoke with his family, training Jiu Jitsu with his son, and physical fitness training.
