Authors are welcomed from a broad range of disciplines, to include (but not limited to): all healthcare disciplines, disaster management, EMS, military, psychology, social work / sociology, humanities, nutrition, and fitness.

Logistics

The logistical goal of this journal is two-fold:

(1) Simplify and streamline the publishing process: quick, no fees, open access

(2) Make your contribution to the evidenced-based world easily accessible to everyone with internet access

Mission

The Problem:

Healthcare providers in different specialties operate in silos; and even when doctors converge, they frequently exclude professionals in nursing, dentistry, education, nutrition, pharmacy, pre-hospital personnel, and administration.

Solution:

Recognizing the diversity of valuable scholarly work in the correctly multifaceted picture of clinical wellness, we identified the need for a new journal devoted to this topic.  We sought to create a central repository solely dedicated to quality research on first responders and healthcare professionals and personnel.

Let’s collect in one place our experiences, triumphs, and failures.

Inclusivity:

The Journal of Wellness welcomes manuscripts from every domain of wellness.  We seek to publish and disseminate information, free to all, that results in greater overall resiliency, physical strength, nutritional completeness, disease prevention, and mental health, for everyone involved in healthcare and beyond.

We can work together to enhance our own wellness, ultimately improving the health of ourselves and our communities.

Contribution Topic Examples (not limited to):

Physician Burnout, Resident Wellness, High Intensity Exercise & Recovery, Sleep, Stress Mitigation & Stress Inoculation, Spirituality & Medicine, Inspiring Medical Encounters, Physical Recovery, Resiliency, Reduction Pharmacology, Exercise and Nutrition.
